Barcelona and Altea are great destinations for holiday rentals. Are full of tourists all year round, but the competition is high, and of different platforms like Airbnb or Booking that rent your apartments online.

These platforms are great choice for small owners. They can easily reach large number of potential customers, but the less opportunities for customization, especially for special offers. Also charge consequent commision for each booking. 

With three beautifully designed apartments in Barcelona and Altea, Bert Hoogesteger, the owner, contacted us build website to increase the number of direct bookings and make difference among competitors.

Building the brand

We created the brand as combination of client’s last name, and the purpose of the website: renting holiday apartments. The name is easy to write, memorable, and easy to pronounce. The new brand was born.

For brand identity, chose elegant and modern colors, and at nice typography. We designed brand new business cards for properties, and included dynamic QR code for additional and seasonal offers. 

Direct bookings with full customization

We built an elegant custom website with Wordpress and Elementor Pro. And the Motopress plugin, which allows our client to direct bookings through the website.

This booking engine offers plenty of options to customize the different properties, an easy-to-manage admin, and a mobile app. This way our client can manage all the bookings on his own. He can also set up seasonal offers and control the whole booking process without intermediaries.

In addition to main “property” and “about us” pages, we also included more general information pages. These pages can help future customers discover the best things to do in Barcelona and Altea. Our client can also add sponsored links or promote services in areas.

Finally, also added blog in Dutch version of website. The main purpose of blog is attract more customers the Netherlands during winter holidays. It also helps increasing the brand’s local awareness among the Dutch-speaking visitors and locals living in Altea or Barcelona.
